We are proud of our company and feel strongly that our past and future success depends on the dedication and hard work of each one of our employees. This is reflected in the relationships we have built over the years with our customers, vendors and community.
We strive to provide the best service in our industry. It starts with quality products. We keep these products in the best possible condition at our paved and covered facilities. Our products are loaded and delivered safely and efficiently to the jobsite. We will do our best to provide an accurate estimate, deliver products correctly and timely and professionally install windows and doors.
John E. Quarles started the company in 1901 on Commerce Street in downtown Fort Worth. By 1920, the company had expanded to 12 locations across Texas. After the Great Depression, the one remaining Fort Worth location moved to Park Place Ave in 1930, where we are today.
In 1971, a fire destroyed the facility. It was decided at the time, to rebuild as a contractor focused yard.
The company started selling windows in 1988 with a handheld window display. Quarles Windows has grown over the years into our current showroom and offices serving builders and homeowners alike.
Quarles expanded into the trucking business in 1998 with the purchase of our first OTR truck and currently operate in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
On the 100th anniversary of our company, the City of Fort Worth declared May 5, 2001 Quarles Lumber Company Day.
Quarles will turn 120 in 2021.
